IN THIS ISSUE:
Dear Friends,

It was terrific to see such an energetic and truly diverse crowd for our kickoff Executive Event dinner under the Pavilion tent on a spectacular September 21st evening. On behalf of all the Boston Chapter members and our incredible sponsoring Partners, I want to again extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Yvonne Garcia of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) and State Street Corporation for her heartfelt and insightful remarks on growing up as a Latina "chica" and forging the many opportunities that she has created for herself so far as well as sharing her understandably ambitious goals for her future. I'm confident that many of us will look back fondly one day soon when Yvonne is covered in the press for her accomplishments as a Fortune 500 CEO and remark that "we knew her when...."!

Advanced Capital Solutions
There is a trend toward severe losses in excess of company risk appetite occurring at large multinationals. These losses may arise from single risks (risk of disaster such as hurricanes, storm surge, earthquakes, pandemic, or cyber-attacks) but more often they tend to stem from risks that echo across multiple risk categories and have a tendency to aggregate (especially in crises).
