Dear e-Fisherfolk,
It's the most scariest time of the year! It's October. Some people think December is scarier, but it's not supposed to be. In October, our thoughts turn to pumpkins, pumpkin pies, ghosts and goblins, Halloween, and the inevitable coming of both cold weather and Christmas songs! As of this writing, there are 82 days, 10 hours, 31 minutes, and 45...44...43...42 seconds until Christmas. If you're not scared by now, probably nothing will scare you. So go ahead and watch this video to a song we wrote called BOO! Enjoy it! Share it with your friends! Then check out our sale on our Grammy Nominated CD "Merry Fishes to All" below.

We've got a lot planned for the months ahead. It's Revel Time in Shreveport, LA. That's the Red River Revel. Three Trout Fishing in America shows. Three Dana Louise and the Glorious Birds shows. And if that's not enough, you can follow us down to Baton Rouge for our first appearance at the Red Dragon Listening Room. The next week, we'll be returning to the Centrum in Spring, TX, a venue we know and love. And Pittsburgh, PA? Yes indeed, at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, Calliope's Root Cellar. That's a new one for us. We know only a few people in that area, so please help us get the word out. Tell 50 of your closest friends about our show. Tell them what kind of music we play. Hahaha. Now we can't sit here and read the whole calendar to you, but know that these upcoming gigs are in some very cool places that you need to locate.
Before we leave September and it's rare Black Moon too far behind (note: A Black Moon is a 2nd new moon in a calendar period), we'd like to say what a fabulous time we had in Taos, NM at Michael Hearne's Big Barn Dance Music Festival. Our Flight of the Monarch show in Grand Prairie started out grand, but had a bit of weather adversity. No matter. It's always good to see our friends down there in Grand Prairie. We will be back again, this time without Mr. Storm. And finally, our trip to the Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake, Wisconsin was delightful. We had cheese curds. We had haddock. We had fun! Come out and join us for some fun. (Photo below by Dave Hensley at the Barn Dance)
