Tropical Storm Update

Dear Residents, Business Owners and Visitors:
As you may have already seen, Miami Beach is now under a tropical storm watch. For this reason, we are emphasizing preparedness at this time. A Tropical Storm Watch means that we could feel the effects of tropical storm-force winds as early as tomorrow evening.
Now is the time to have a plan in place, and begin to execute that plan. Make sure your hurricane kits are complete and you have all your supplies ready. Most importantly - stay tuned to local news media for updates.
Rest assured that the city is working diligently to plan and prepare. Please note that out of an abundance of caution, beginning at sunset Wednesday night, access to the beaches will be closed.
