The ride starts at 9am but they also have a Fun Run that starts at 8am (just in case you have some runners/walker in your household). Pizza served post ride.

We've got a NEW ride launching as part of the Trinity River Wind Festival offering a mountain bike/hybrid bike 10 mile route on the Trinity River Levee Trails and the Skyline Trails. A mixture of pavement and gravel, this is a casual ride designed as the perfect ride for friends and family to enjoy together. You can learn about the Trinity River Wind Festival here

Tips for Trail Riding

If you are a trail rider, please consider these tips for safe trail cycling:

When cycling in heavy pedestrian traffic - slow down
Wait until oncoming traffic is clear before passing
ALWAYS pass on the left side and ALWAYS announce your pass (passing on your left)
ALWAYS slow down when passing
When passing a runner or walker wearing ear buds SLOW DOWN
Obey the stop signs and traffic lights at street crossing/locations
Never presume that you have the right-of-way
Whenever slowing or stopping, call out your intentions (someone might be behind you)

As a cyclist, you are the semi of the trail - the biggest, the heaviest and the fastest - so you present a big threat for all other trail users. Don't cause an injury to yourself or others by riding fast and failing to slow down and proceed with caution.

If you don't want to slow down and adapt to trail traffic, please consider moving onto the area roadways.

That's what we've got for you this week. The most important thing is to get out there and ride!
