Celebrating Saint Theresa's Feast Day
Dear St. Theresa School Parents & Friends,

This Friday morning we will celebrate Saint Theresa's feast day with a morning prayer service and the blessing of the back packs. Please make sure you arrive on time to be present to honor our patron saint. Please pray that she will continue to guide our school to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and teach us her little way.

"Jesus does not so much look at the greatness of our actions, nor even at their difficulty, but at the love with which we do them."  Saint Theresa

WALK-A-THON 2016 News and Updates
Dear Family and Friends,  The Campaign for this year's Walk-A-Thon is up and running.  The date is Sunday, October 16th at 1:00 p.m. on the School's field.  By now your family should have started a pledge sheet, securing change to dollars from your family, friends and co-workers.  Many companies will do a dollar for dollar match for our event.

This is a day filled with fun, community, food and family.  There will be something for everyone including, bounce house availability for the kids, the walk itself on our great field in the fresh air of fall, food, snacks, water and a raffle. In the past we have had face painting, touch a truck and games as well.  Look for some of these to also take place that day!!

Each year we encourage the children to take this project on themselves by earning money from walking the dog, babysitting, having an apple cider or lemonade stand or simply asking family to help support the school.

Many of your teachers presented wish lists,  this is a good example of how the Walk-A-Thon can help attain those items.

Over the next few days start to look for a timeline on collection of pledge sheets and donations so we are ready to celebrate on the 16th.

Lastly, this year's tee shirt has been on sale at Booster.Com.  If you did not purchase a tee shirt as of yesterday, you will not be able to have one in time for the event but look for a few in the raffle!!!

Please help us make this event a success so we can continue to provide for our children at St. Theresa School.

Many thanks as always,
The 2016 Walk-A-Thon Committee

I would like to thank the wonderful 6th grade parents for responding so quickly:

Deanna Gunther's mom delivered a beautiful turquoise bean bag the following morning AND has volunteered to come in and speak to the Science classes. Sukayla Edward's mom sent in a cool "Digestive System" puzzle.

We so appreciate any and all books and materials to help in making our classroom a "hands on" learning environment!
