Dear Parents,

Hello and Welcome to another school year here at Archbishop Carroll from the Parent’s Association!  We especially want to welcome our new families that have joined us this year. Carroll is a special place and we’re so glad you found your way here.

All of you are already members of The Parent’s Association here at Carroll and we want to make sure you are aware of all that we do here at the school.

One of the main functions of the Parent’s Association is to perform the Hospitality at our school events like Back to School, Open Houses and the Homecoming Dance.

Our first Open House is this Sunday, October 2nd from 11:00am to 2:00pm.  We would love for you to help us.  The Parent’s Association provides baked goods for the Open House, so if you could donate any baked good and please drop it off in the cafeteria on Sunday morning.  We would also love parents to help us set up, clean up and just join us at the Open House to be there to greet other families who are coming to visit the school.  Any time you can give us or baked goods that you can contribute is greatly appreciated.

Another function of the Parent’s Association is provide some fun events during the year.  One event that we would love to see you and your friends at is the Handbag Bingo which is November 4th.  Nancy Lake is our chairperson. We need parents to help her to make the night a success. If you can help please contact her at Carrollbingo@gmail.com. To order your tickets for the evening, click HERE to view and print the ticket order form, and join us for a great night!

In February, the Parent’s Association also hosts Quizzo Night – a great time for parents and their friends.  Mark your calendar to Save the Date – Friday, February 17, 2017.

Our biggest event, CAFÉ, is Saturday, April 8, 2017.  We will be having a meeting shortly to begin setting up this amazing evening.  It is the biggest fundraiser of the year and we hope many parents are able to be a part of this great night.

The Parent’s Association holds its meetings every other month on Monday evenings in the Library.  Our next meeting is Monday, November 14th at 7:00pm.  A nice part of our meetings is that parents get to speak with an administrator (usually Principal Schulz).  It’s a great way to get updated on the happenings at Carroll, ask questions and meet other parents. Please remember to always check the Patriot Post for our information.  We will let you know of upcoming meetings/events and any updates that we may have.

As parents, we all have busy schedules, but we hope that you can join us for our events and meetings. I’d love to meet you and answer any questions you have!  To find out how you can get more involved, feel free to contact me at carolynondikevans@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

Carolyn Evans
President of Parent’s Association

Registration for the homecoming dance will be on October 3rd and 4th during lunch periods.  Students must register to attend, but admission is free to Carroll students. We want to ensure the safety of our students at all times.

Scrip Program

SAVE MONEY ON YOUR TUITION JUST BY DOING YOUR NORMAL SHOPPING!!!

Do you grocery shop? For every $100 you spend at ACME or GIANT, you could be saving $4.50 on your tuition. Do you shop at Macy’s? For every $100 you spend at Macy’s, you could save $9.00 off your tuition. That is just a small example of how you can save money.
