We always preach having a balanced program of Push to Pull exercises but Kris Martinez brings up a great point:
"Are our upper body pulling muscles made to handle as much load as our pushing muscles? Think about Push-Pull splits. There's always more load in the bench press, shoulder press, push jerks etc, than in chin up/pull ups, rows, and lat pulldowns."

It's definitely made for some interesting conversation with contributions from Barry Masterman, Miguel Sousa, Jon Rimmer and Colton Kaiser.

Are we meant to pull heavy? What do you think?
