3D Scanning to Modeling 

Alex Calder, Kevin Stein, and Michael Schmidt of BKF will present an hour-long introduction to 3D Scanning to Modeling. Alex and his team use 3D Scanning for a wide variety of projects, including existing conditions surveys, TI projects, as-built surveys, and quality control/specification adherence. BKF is providing 3D surveying services for the Salesforce Tower Project adjacent to the new Transbay Transit Center in San Francisco.  BKF maintains quality assurance and control by monitoring the corewall construction and compression settlement using Leica P40 3D High Definition Scanners.
