George Howard Building, Banneker Room
3430 Court House Drive, Ellicott City, MD  21043

Public is invited.  Roundtable format will  not allow for oral testimony but community attendance and written input is encouraged.

The Oakland Mills Board discussed noise concerns from  Merriweather Post Pavilion at the September 13, 2016 meeting. The Board sent a letter to the County Executive, State Delegation, County Council and Columbia Association asking that the following steps be taken immediately:

- Revoke the 2013 State statute that exempts Merriweather Post Pavilion from the limits on time and decibels and reinstate the pre-2013 noise standards that had applied to the venue.
- Strictly enforce the decibel and time limits and notify the public of the results in a timely manner.
- Establish fines which will encourage adherence to decibel and time limits.
