Spirit Night at Beef O'Brady's
Today, Friday, September 16, 2016, celebrate "Spirit Night;" 10% of sales are donated back to SFC. Write the student's name and Santa Fe on the back of your receipt and give it to your waitress. Only applicable at Lake Miriam Beef O'Brady's - 4810 S. Florida Avenue.
Homecoming Dance
The Homecoming Dance, on October 8th, is a sophomore class sponsored event in which they are responsible for refreshments,
set-up, and breakdown of the dance. Sophomores need to bring in either a case of small water bottles or some cookies. The water can be brought in anytime through October 7th and the cookies should be brought in on October 7th. All items can be brought to Mrs. Becker's room. A sign-up sheet is available in Mrs. Maisonave's room for set-up and breakdown.
Service For Christ Mentoring Program
At the start of the Fall 2016 academic year Santa Fe began a new mentoring program entitled Serving For Christ. Small groups of students, divided by grade level, have been assigned a faculty mentor and will meet throughout the year for various activities. The groups have met twice so far this year and the project has been well-received by the students!

One of the primary focuses of the program will be themed service projects throughout the year. For an upcoming project we need your help and are in need of some donations! Some of the students will be planting seeds (or repotting) for house plants to give to people within the local communities.
We are in need of:
  • flower pots (ones that could be painted or decorated would be fantastic but not a necessity)
  • soil
  • seeds/plants
  • watering cans
If you have any of these items and would like to donate them OR are willing to purchase some of these items and donate them we will certainly put them to good use! We are looking to create at least 25 house plants for donation. The type of plant or flower doesn't matter as long as it can grow indoors and preferably without a lot of maintenance.
We would need all donations by Friday, September 23rd.
If you have any questions please contact Dr. Cari Murphy at cmurphy@santafecatholic.org.
