GRIFFITH AND SCOFIELD TO LEAD THE 2016 CAMPAIGN.
The Livingston County United Way is pleased to announce that Carol Griffith has joined Rick Scofield, as co-chairperson for Livingston County United Way's 2016 annual fundraising campaign. Griffith is co-owner and vice president of Griffith Realty in Brighton, and Vice Chairperson of the Livingston County Board of Commissioners. Scofield is chairman of May and Scofield Limited, and current chairperson of the Livingston County Economic Development Council.
  
"Carol and Rick are outgoing and involved local leaders who bring much enthusiasm and love for the county to our efforts," said Dan Danosky, 2016 United Way Board President. "Both are tremendously community-minded and want the very best for Livingston County families. We are excited to have them sharing this key leadership role."

SETTING THE PACE!
Fifteen area organizations are "setting the pace" for the 2016 Campaign. Our Pacesetter Honor Roll includes American Compounding Specialties, Asahi Kasei Plastics North America, Brighton and Hartland Target Stores, Brighton Area Schools, Carson's, Fowlerville Community Schools, Hartland Consolidated Schools, Howell Public Schools, LESA, Livingston County Catholic Charities, Pinckney Community Schools, St. Joseph Mercy Health System, TG Fluid Systems USA Corp., and UPS. Thanks to these tremendous partners for being this year's leaders! 
 
HOWELL ROTARY'S 9th ANNUAL TOUR de LIVINGSTON
will take place on Sunday, October 9. Registration is going strong and riders are excited. All registrants are entered in a drawing to win an amazing bicycle from Hom etown Bicycle Shop, will enjoy full food and hospitality amenities, can choose the routes of their choice, ride the GM Milford Road Course, have a little devilish fun in Hell...and so much more. LIVINGSTON COUNTY UNITED WAY'S 15th ANNUAL DAY OF CARING made a tremendous impact in the community just a few short weeks ago. Over 1,300 volunteers touched lives in a big way at 122 projects around the county. Assistance was
provided at the homes of 84 seniors and others with health challenges, over 4,000 lbs of food was collected, 1,000+ backpacks were stuffed, yards cleaned up, painting projects completed, and much more. Campaign co-chairperson, Rick Scofield, said it best: "There is a lot of heart in this community!" The 2016 wrap up report is now available. 
   

VOLUNTEER LIVINGSTON THANK Q event, held at Cleary University, celebrated volunteerism i n Livingston County with hundreds of people attending. Guests enjoyed food, net working and an activity to thank first-responders.
