Healthcare Roundtable Announces October Program

Entitled Practice Startup/Practice Expansion, the second Healthcare Roundtable of the 2016 autumn season will feature an expert panel assembled to address the major obstacles facing physician entrepreneurs. Topic addressed include:
  • Business Financing: Refinance, Start up, Acquisition, Relocation and Remodel
  • Real Estate - New Office, Acquisitions, Lease Renewals, Expansions
  • Internet Marketing- Website Design, SEO, Social Media and Google/Facebook Advertising
  • EHR and PM solutions
"The trend is toward consolidation but physicians tend to enjoy independence," states Jeff Herschler, President of Coral Gables based FHIcommunications and creator of the Healthcare Roundtable series. "Creating a new practice or expanding an existing one is often preferable to seeking employment with a hospital or health system and that's why we created this program," he added.

Panelists are Jason Nunez, VP,  Bank of America Practice Solutions, Ken Jorgenson , Sales Associate,
Carr Healthcare Realty, Shay Berman, President of Digital Resource and Brian Foster, Client Solutions Director, CareCloud.

The event will take place on Tues., October 18, 2016, 7:30-10:30 am at 401 E. Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.

Good Samaritan Medical Center Receives Recognition as a Center of Excellence for Hidden Scar Breast Cancer Surgery
SPONSOR

West Palm Beach based Good Samaritan Medical Center's certified breast surgeons are expanding options for women in Palm Beach County and surrounding communities with a procedure that effectively treats cancer while optimizing cosmetic results. The hospital's Breast Institute is the first in South Florida to be named a Center of Excellence for Hidden Scarâ„¢ Breast Cancer Surgery, an advanced approach for nipple sparing mastectomies and lumpectomies. This type of surgery hides scars, minimizing the daily emotional reminder of a breast cancer diagnosis.

"This designation is a testament to our firm commitment to provide women in Palm Beach County and beyond with a comprehensive range of high quality breast care services," said Mark Nosacka, hospital CEO. "The physicians and staff at our Breast Institute work tirelessly to bring the latest in health care options to women in a compassionate and patient-centered way."
