PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dr. Ray
We are looking forward to an exciting week at GOC! Remember, students will not be coming to campus for Learning Labs or Campus Time next week.  Students and teachers will have the chance to experience virtual learning utilizing Adobe Connect for learning lab sessions next week. Our teachers and tech team are prepared to make this a productive week of learning!

Students, make sure that you do your part to contribute to a successful learning experience by being ready and willing to participate in each of your virtual classes. Virtual Week is a great opportunity to "Power your Potential!"

GOC SCHOOL COUNCIL
The nomination period for School Council has closed. We received interest from exactly the number of parent representatives that are needed to serve on the council. Our parent representatives are Jacobus Boers, Jinnifer Caldwell, Kris Michels, Yessica Rojas, and Denise Rumbaugh
Dr. Anissa Vega from Kennesaw State University will serve as a business representative. We appreciate their willingness to serve.
VERY IMPORTANT WEBSITE ANNOUNCEMENT!

The district has instructed all schools in GCPS to redirect website home pages to the district website.

We'll have other service opportunities throughout the year, so stay tuned!

The 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Teams have been invited to the White House for a "Red Carpet Event". Although the invitation did not mention President Obama's presence, he was present after London in 2012 so McClain is hopeful she will see him there.
