NAMI New Jersey (National Alliance on Mental Illness)
NAMI New Jersey (NAMI NJ) is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. Through education, support, advocacy and public awareness programs NAMI NJ fosters understanding about mental illness, confronts stigma often associated with mental disorders, advocates for public policies that benefit those affected by mental illness, and promotes research into the causes, treatment and recovery of mental health disorders.

Spectrum Works
Spectrum Works is looking for driven and dynamic thought leaders in the MPA program to assist with the development of our program monitoring and evaluation efforts.  Spectrum Works, a 501c3 based in Secaucus, is a job training and employment program for young people on the spectrum. Duties for this internship would include data organization and entry, data analysis, and reporting on key outputs for our program, which is based in Secaucus, NJ.

The internship for the office of Congressman Donald M. Payne, Jr. is an opportunity that offers undergraduate, graduate and post-doctorate students throughout the country an exciting insider's view of the district office operations of a Member of Congress.  The internship will offer college credits and be helpful in future academic and career opportunities.

Newark Department of Health and Community Wellness
The MPH Intern in the Newark Department of Health and Community Wellness (DHCW) will work under the supervision of DHCW administration to research and assess the status of health in Newark. The Intern will evaluate the impact of science and evidence-based public health interventions on the community, and participate in formulating recommendations that may ultimately lead to policy changes.

The Hartsook Centre for Sustainable Philanthropy (HCSP) at Plymouth University in the UK is seeking to appoint a full-time Research Fellow. The HCSP's mission is to grow philanthropy by enhancing the quality of the donor experience. It is the home of the new academic discipline of philanthropic psychology. This is a full time role working 37 hours per week and is fixed term for 12 months in the first instance.

Rutgers University-Newark's School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) and Rutgers School of Law-Newark have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a dual Juris Doctor/Master of Public Administration (JD/MPA) degree program. The JD/MPA dual degree program benefits Master of Public Administration students by underscoring government's foundation in the law, and serves law students by deepening their understanding of the implementation of law by the agencies of government. For more information:  https://spaa.newark.rutgers.edu/jd-mpa
