New Advancement Director
Welcome Mrs. Kathleen Kearns Donahue

We are pleased to announce the addition of Kathleen Kearns Donahue to our staff as our part-time Director of Advancement. Kathie comes to us after a successful fourteen-year career as the Director of Alumnae Relations & Special Events for Lauralton Hall, Academy of Our Lady of Mercy, Milford. During her tenure at Lauralton, she also served as Director of Annual Fund and as interim Director of Development.  She is a passionate and enthusiastic professional with extensive experience in non-profit development, fundraising, phone-a-thon and call center management, alumni relations, and special events. She was responsible for strategic planning, fiscal and event management, program development and fundraising for the Lauralton Alumnae Office. She also provided support and coordination to the academy's cultivation efforts. Prior to Lauralton Hall, Kathleen began her career as an Account Manager with Dun and Bradstreet Corporation (Salesnet Division) and then advanced to United States Surgical Corporation as a division manager. She and husband Timothy are Trumbull residents and parishioners of St. Catherine's. They have raised two daughters who graduated from our school, Class of 2002 and 2010. While her daughters were at St. Catherine's, Kathie was very involved in the HSA and Girl Scouts. She remains very active in the community and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Broadway Method Academy and the Nichols Garden Club.

Box Tops for Education

We will be continuing the Box Tops for Education program. This program is easy to take part in and helps to benefit our school children. All you need to do is f ind Box Tops on various  products, cut the B ox Tops  from each package and s end the Box Tops to school in a  baggie.  Box Tops are each worth 10ยข  for our school.  Our Box Tops Coordinator, Barbara Wells, will collect all the Box Tops and send them in so our school can get cash.  Checks are mailed to schools twice a year in December and April.
