Genco Federal Credit Union was charted in 1953 to meet the financial needs of General Tire and Rubber Company employees. Since 2000, its membership has been open to everyone working in McLennan and Angelina Counties. Five Central Texas locations provide dozens of finance products.

The campuses welcome over 800 students each year at no cost through an open lottery system. Students from any school district may apply.
