With up to $500,000 in grant funding to be awarded in this inaugural cycle through a competitive, community-based review process, KEIRO is reaching out to the community to encourage applications from qualified non-profit organizations and groups.

KEIRO's goal with its new Grants Program is to extend its resources to serve the most vulnerable Japanese American and Japanese older adults in Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties.

Grant awards will focus on two of KEIRO's core program areas: Service to Older Adults and Support of Caregivers.

Workshop participants asked questions regarding the application process. Early submissions (by October 31) are welcome, and if requested will receive feedback prior to November 15, 2016 deadline.
