Scouting Worldwide: Connect with Scouts from all over the world. Radio, Internet, and more. The annual Jamboree on the Air will be Saturday, October 15. Our very own Long Beach Sea Base will host exciting activities and communication centers. Stay tuned for more details!
Winter Freeze-O-Ree

December 2-4 - The Freeze-O-Ree is a patrol based competition applying Scout Skills in a cold weather environment. Events include Coyote Bait, Survivorish, and Take That Yeti! Check out info here.    
Leader Specific Training

Saturday, October 8 - Courses will give new leaders and leaders changing positions the knowledge and skills needed to manage a successful den, pack, troop, or crew. Led by experienced, fellow volunteers. See training awards for adults.

Paddlecraft Safety 2016

Saturday, October 1 - Hands-on skill training in paddlecraft. Course covers swimming, personal safety, basic boating, and group safety. See requirements. Must be registered adult or youth 15+.  
Mountain Man Rendezvous

October 14-15 - Practice and show off your frontiersman skills! Muzzle loading, tomahawks, fire-starting, cannon ball toss, caber toss, colter run. Suggested for Scouts ages 14+, Varsity and Venturing Scouts. Flyer here.
