Football Game at Ford Center this Friday
Administrators from Frisco Lone Star HS have shared some helpful information for parents about Friday night's game. They are encouraging everyone to arrive early to ensure fans have time to pass through the security screening when entering the facility. The Ford Center uses NFL Standards (which can be seen here http://www.nfl.com/qs/allclear/index.jsp) for determining what items will be allowed in the stadium. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and the game has a start time of 7:00 p.m.

Sign-Up to be a Senior Project Judge
Senior Project is an exciting part of every LHS senior's experience as they explore topics of their choice and share what they learn with members of the community. There are different components of the project including creating a proposal, writing an annotated bibliography, and completing an activity. As the culminating event of their Senior Project, students give an 8-10 minute presentation about their experience to a panel of adult volunteer judges. These judges score students on their presentation skills and give them feedback designed to help them in their future pursuits. As the Senior Project Coordinators, we want to extend to you the invitation to share in this experience as a Senior Project Judge. Presentations will take place this year at Lovejoy High School on November 15th, December 7th, January 17th and February 16th. Presentations will begin at 5:30 p.m. and should conclude by 9:00 at the latest. Dinner will be provided each evening.
**Please note: There are only 4 opportunities to serve as a Senior Project judge this year. As a result, we will require more judges per evening than we traditionally needed in the past.
If you would like to sign up, please click here.
Thank you in advance for your consideration!
