At lunch on the first day of the LGMI Conference, we will have a presentation from Jay Hennessey, Mill Manager at the Pratt Industries' Valparaiso, Indiana mill.

This mill started up on 4 Oct 2015, so it will have been running just a bit over one year by the time of our LGMI Conference (16 - 18 Oct 2016). Jay has been there from the beginning and was formerly the mill manager at Pratt's Staten Island, New York mill.

This is already a record setting mill and had some interesting twists and turns during construction. However, I don't want to give away Jay's story, suffice it to say the project came in on time and on budget and has been running like a champ.
