Are you coherent enough to order your coffee for the weekend?

    Brazil Swiss Water Decaffeinated

Many people ask how we decaffeinate coffee.  The short answer; we don't...
The water process of decaffeinating coffee happens in only two places, Mexico and Canada.  Mexico uses a process called Mountain Water Decaffeination.  The Swiss Water decaffeination process, which is done in Canada, is simple and natural: coffee beans soaked in water to remove the caffeine, then re-dried.  No chemicals.  The difference between Swiss and Mountain Water processes is that Swiss Water recycles the water.

Swiss Water coffees retain all that great coffee flavor, with almost complete caffeine removal (98% +).  The resulting decaf is true to the original - big, with a full, almost waxy mouthfeel, and a range of chocolates and spices. Easily one of the best decafs you will ever have the pleasure to try.

They've done it again!  Inn keepers Colin and Deanna Crossman have opened the sister hotel to the King's Daughters Inn.  Located in downtown Cary, NC, The Mayton Inn follows the same philosophy it used while building the King's Daughters Inn...
Philosophy:
Sustainable Lodging:  At The Mayton Inn , we're committed to environmentally responsible building and living. It's not just a fad for us, it's truly part of our day-to-day operations. From the lightbulbs we use to the coffee we drink, sustainability is key.

Full bodied without being heavy, this is a decidedly clean cup. Predominantly rounded with light fruit notes of white grape. Hints of dark chocolate. Slight glazed almond nuance as the cup cools.

Happy Thursday!

This past Sunday marked another successful Chickenwire Dinner!  For those of you who don't know about Chickenwire, it brings together chefs from the Triangle to engage in a shared desire for culinary hijinks. Some proceeds from each dinner will benefit a chosen non-profit charity.  Muddy Dog is the proud coffee supplier of all the Chickenwire events.  And what made this particular event even more special is that we connected two sources, the chefs and the venue.  Sunday's event was held at The Mayton Inn, where we served the namesake's coffee, of course.  Check out the dinner, check out the Inn and check out the coffee, especially while it's on sale!

Happy Diners!

Happy Crew!
Thanks again for your continued support!

Sincerely,

Debbie and Jim
