Meet Spike at the DNC!  Dear Supporter, We have some exciting news here at the Labor 411 Foundation: Weve hired a new Development Director! Spike Dolomite Ward comes to Labor 411 through the nonprofit sector of Los Angeles with a background in fundraising, nonprofit management and development, event planning, and community organizing around social justice causes like health care reform and public education. Shell be tasked with growing the Labor 411 Foundation. Labor 411 started as a tool for consumers who live in Los Angeles to do business with socially responsible companies that employ union workers and has grown to include San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia. More cities will continue to be added to our online and print directories. As we grow, we are doing more outreach into the general public to educate people about the Ethical Consumer Movement through the Labor 411 Foundation. The Labor 411 Foundation seeks to protect the middle class through ethical consumerism, union support and holding employers to respectable standards through Research, Education and Advocacy.
