Electronic Business Newsletter, September 2016

Wow, what a summer it has been as the Anderson development boom that was forecasted several years ago is now upon us! Not only is this apparent in the over $165 million in public and private investment that is occurring around the center of our community, at Beechmont and Five Mile roads, but this impact is now being felt and seen across Anderson Township.

As we look toward fall, several of these projects will be wrapping up with this new investment and infrastructure coming online. These include a portion of the redeveloped Anderson Towne Center, Mercy Health's Anderson Hospital expansion, and the Professional Center of Anderson office building, along with roadway, sidewalk and public transit improvements.

At the same time, a number of other projects that have been in the pipeline will begin construction. Anderson's development wave will continue through not only 2017, but into 2018 as well. In addition to construction in the core of our community, revitalization of the Forest Hills School District sites, and over a half dozen new residential subdivisions, are signs of development and change across our community.

The Anderson Township Economic Development Committee launched this Anderson Business Update in early 2013 to showcase the happenings and opportunities our community possesses. This and upcoming editions will give a peek to these new developments as the "new" Anderson begins to take shape. As you will see, this also includes a significant public investment, fueled by the voters of Anderson Township and the Village of Newtown, who supported a 2014 bond levy from the Forest Hills School District.

These new businesses, redevelopments and public facilities will help ensure Anderson Township remains one of Greater Cincinnati's most desirable communities to live, work and play!

Sincerely,

Andrew S. Pappas, Trustee President
Joshua S. Gerth , Vice President
R. Dee Stone , Trustee
Kenneth G. Dietz , Fiscal Officer
