GPS Students Exceed State Averages AGAIN in PALS Testing
We're proud to report that Golden Pond's rising kindergarten students (4 year olds and junior kindergarten classes) have again exceeded the top end of the Virginia development range for the Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening (PALS).

Brain Building Workshop
Golden Pond School is here to partner with your family during this exciting time of rapid brain development and innate curiosity for your child.
Kathie Burrell, owner of GPS for 14 years, will be presenting her interactive Brain Building Workshop to Golden Pond Families and their guests. Learn how to make a powerful impact on your child during these formative years when 85% of a child's brain development takes place.

Program Spotlight: Kindergarten
Kindergarten is an important milestone for both parents and children, marking the beginning of a child's formal school career. Our full-day Kindergarten curriculum not only exceeds the Virginia Standards of Learning, but also integrates the experiential learning methods and theme-based approach of the Golden Pond Way.

"Our family has been with Golden Pond since 2010. Our sons have had the best experience and I can't say enough good things about the school. The environment is family-oriented and even teachers who haven't had my kids, still know them by name! A nurturing, safe, fun place for all children and of course a great education.
