Signups for Children's Programs are available two weeks prior to each program.  Please register for all programs unless otherwise noted. Please contact the library with any questions.

Return to the 1930s for some foot-stomping fiddling by Dudley and Jacqueline Laufman. Listen to Prohibition stories by Frank Weber of Frajil Spirits and taste a special cocktail, the Bee's Knees. Meet and greet characters from the book. Celebrate Fall with a tour of the vineyard.

FDR Visits NH: Living History Presentation 
  
This is Hollis Social Library's biggest event for the  National Endowment for the Arts 2016 National Big Read -  The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. 

Enjoy an evening in the presence of former president Franklin Delano Roosevelt as he shares his personal history of the Great Depression and his response to it. Roosevelt's narrative will be told in first person by FDR presenter Richard Marold.

Richard Marold has taught history on both the secondary and college levels. He holds a MA in Humanities from Penn State University and has portrayed FDR throughout his home state of Colorado as well as before educational and professional groups nationwide.
