Our members have been busy as they work to make Chester County a great place to live and do business! There's much to celebrate in the last month alone. Thanks to everyone who supported our newest businesses by attending recent ribbon cuttings and the Business After Hours. We also hosted two successful workshops taught by the Small Business Development Center's highly-qualified staff. Don't forget our upcoming Town Hall Meeting on September 22 and our Chamber Classic golf tournament on October 13th. Working together works! What a perfect way to celebrate the importance of Labor Day.

The Chester County School District's annual Career Expo will be held October 14th at The Gateway. Any business (large, small, private, not-for-profit, etc.) is invited and encouraged to participate in this free event. Seniors from the district's three high schools attend with one main goal in mind--to learn more about the companies in our area! This expo is NOT a hiring/job fair.

Foster Families Information Session
on September 24th at 11:00 a.m. at the Fort Lawn Community Center sponsored by Winthrop University and SCDSS. Have you ever thought about helping a child in need? Please attend the information session to learn more about how you can help a child by becoming a licensed foster parent. There will be a short presentation followed by a question and answer session.
