Quincy Harper Sr.
We learned late last week that our Community Manager, Quincy Harper was leaving us to pursue other endeavors. His last day of employment with Spectrum was Friday, September 9th.

The Board of Directors, Staff, Volunteers and Community Members wish to express our deepest appreciation for all of the hard work, long hours and late nights he put in to making the first phase of the transition a success.  We are grateful for his kindness, loyalty, wisdom and commitment to all of us.

We look forward to working with Mike Hunsucker, who will be serving as the new Community Manager, starting Monday, September 12th.

In early August, each homeowner should have received the Spectrum postcard pictured above.

We encourage you to immediately register your online service center account at www.spectrumam.com using the access code provided on the back of your postcard.  Some of the benefits of registering your account include being able to:
  • view your account balance 24/7
  • view any violations on your property and make notes
  • pay your assessments online
  • view and print governing documents
  • view the community calendar
  • receive e-blast messages from Spectrum
If you have any questions, or need anything at all, give us a call at 210-679-8761 or chat with us online using the Live Chat feature.

You can also email us at [email protected].

If you had the opportunity to get a message across your community, what would your message be?

TaMarsh Thompson
The national nonprofit organization, Homes for Our Troops (HFOT), will award a home to Chief Warrant Officer (CW4) TaMarsh Thompson on Saturday, September 17, 2016. CW4 Thompson was severely injured while serving in Afghanistan. The event will be held at 2115 Sage Run at 10 A.M. The public is welcome to attend and tour the home after the ceremony.

On March 22, 2012, CW4 Thompson was returning from a combat mission when the Apache Helicopter he was piloting crashed. CW4 Thompson sustained a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) and other injuries in the crash.

CW4 Thompson's new home features more than 40 major special adaptations such as widened doorways for wheelchair access, a roll-in shower, and kitchen amenities that include pull-down shelving and lowered countertops. The home will also alleviate the mobility and safety issues associated with a traditional home, including navigating a wheelchair through narrow hallways or over thresholds, riding on carpets, or reaching for cabinets that are too high. All costs for the home will be covered by Homes for Our Troops and its network of donors, supporters and corporate partners.

HFOT will present the home to CW4 Thompson mortgage-free, thanks to contributions from donors, supporters, and corporate partners. Currently, there are over 76 active projects in need of funding to complete. To find out more on how to get involved or make a donation visit www.hfotusa.org

For five consecutive years, HFOT has received a 4-star rating for sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency by Charity Navigator, America's premier charity evaluator. The 4-star rating represents the highest one achievable by nonprofits.

For more information about CW4 Thompson visit www.hfotusa.org/thompson .

  • RED flashing lights and an EXTENDED STOP SIGN indicate the bus is stopped and children are getting on or off it.
  • It is ILLEGAL to pass a stopped school bus that is loading or unloading children.
  • Traffic in ALL LANES, IN BOTH DIRECTIONS, MUST STOP when children are getting on or off a bus.
  • A SOLID MEDIAN DIVIDER between a motorist and an oncoming bus is the only legal instance in which you can pass a stopped school bus with its red lights flashing and/or stop sign extended.
