Mayor Vincent Bellucci, the Fairview Council and the Library Board of Trustees, Library Director Kristin Nelson and the library staff are pleased to announce that the library will get a fresh new look!
Effective
Monday, September 19th through Sunday, October 2nd
, the Fairview Library will be closed
to the public for painting and carpeting. Fairview Public Library is a member of the Bergen County Cooperative Library System (BCCLS). Therefore, 76 other libraries are available for you to use as you would your home library. For a list of the BCCLS libraries visit www.bccls.org. All libraries require a valid library card in good standing. Cliffside Park Public Library has graciously agreed to issue Fairview Library Cards during the closure. Please visit the library (505 Palisade Avenue, Cliffside Park) with two forms of Fairview residency and a card will be issued to you.
The following information may provide answers to questions you may have. Thank you for
your cooperation. We look forward to seeing you when we re-open.
How long will the library be closed?
The library anticipates being closed for 2 weeks (9/26-10/2).
Where can I return my items?
All Fairview owned items may be returned to any BCCLS library. Due dates will not change. The book drop will be closed during the renovation. Cliffside Park Library is the closest BCCLS library - convenient for returns.
Where can I pick up my items?
You may designate any BCCLS library as your pickup library. Again, Cliffside Park Library is the closest BCCLS library - convenient for pickups. If you placed a request for an item before September 19th, it will be sent to Cliffside Park Library automatically.
Can I call the library during the renovation?
The library will not be accepting phone calls. Information will be available on the library's website: fairview.bccls.org and emails can be sent to director@fairview.bccls.org (please allow 24-48 hours for a response).
This e-mail will be sent again next week as a reminder.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Kristin Nelson, Library Director
