Barbara Mumaw Metarko 1943 - 2016 

Barbara E. Metarko, 73, of Barberton, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016.   She was born on March 31, 1943, to the late Lloyd and Martha (Sawade) Mumaw in Wadsworth, Ohio.

Barbara was a long time member of the Wadsworth Eagles.   She enjoyed spending her time in the garden, sewing and reading books.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, George Metarko;  son, James J. Wiesen;  and sister, Susan Mumaw.   She is survived by son, Don (Arleen) Wiesen;  and also MaryAnn (Gary) Euverard;  Butch (Donna) Mumaw;  Joann Robertson;  John (Rose) Mumaw;  Nancy Baker; James (Judy) Mumaw;  Karen (Steve) Shields  . Barbara is also survived by her grandchildren, Josh, Heather, Brandon and Nikki;  and five great-grandchildren.

The family received friends on Wednesday, September 7, 10 am -12 pm at Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home, 174 North Lyman Street, Wadsworth where funeral services were conducted at 12pm with Pastor John Graham officiating. Internment was at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth, Ohio.
