Calling all Community Leaders - Lead the Ethical Consumer Movement in your Town!  Dear Ethical Consumer, Labor Day is almost here, and the Ethical Consumer Movement is starting to gain some exciting momentum. A big thank you goes out to our latest sponsor, the United Auto Workers (UAW) whose generous support is helping the Labor 411 Foundation further our outreach efforts for the Ethical Consumer Movement and for our BuyBlue campaign. The Ethical Consumer Movement is a program of the Labor 411 Foundation. Our mission is to ensure a healthy, robust middle class by advocating for good jobs for everyone. Through our research, education and advocacy, we promote practices that create and protect good American jobs. This grassroots effort organizes consumers to use their wallets and voting power to send a clear message to employers that the public wholeheartedly embraces the fair treatment of all workers. With the support of organizations like the UAW, we have developed an Ethical Consumer Movement Tool Kit to give consumers ideas on how they can be ethical spenders everytime they go to the store and open their wallets. The tool kit is scheduled to launch on Labor Day.
