Curriculum Night
Thurs.Sept 15
Grades 1&3 6:00-6:45
Grade 5
7:00-7:45

Great Start!
We have had a great few days to begin the school year!  Thanks to our staff and families for providing such a wonderful environment at Clover Ridge! Today was concrete and Chromebooks.  The floor was poured in the new addition, and 140 Chromebooks were distributed to our 3rd Graders. Thanks to our staff for helping to ensure this went smoothly! Check out Facebook and Twitter for pictures.

MAP Testing will begin next week for all students.  This is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their understanding, and we use the information as one data point to better understand their readiness.  We also use it to measure growth over the year.

Please join us for our first PTO Meeting on Monday, September 12 from 9:20-10:20.

Families that have students in Grades 1, 3, and 5 are invited to join us on Curriculum Night on Thursday, September 15 to learn more about the upcoming school year.  Teachers will be here to review programming, routines, and answer questions about their cluster.

If you are new to Clover Ridge and have students in grades 2 or 4, please contact the teacher to answer specific questions that you may have.

Throughout the year, parents are welcome to join their child for lunch.  We would ask that you wait until October while we establish routines and our cafeteria is completed.

School Supplies
Several years ago, our district asked that we remove general supplies from each student's supply list.  Unfortunately, this has created a need for additional supplies.  These are supplies that teachers use throughout the year.  Please consider sending some of the following supplies to your child's homeroom teacher: tissues, Clorox Wipes, paper plates, Zip Lock Bags (gallon/quart/sandwich), plastic utensils, and paper towels.  Your participation is completely optional.  Thanks for your consideration and generosity.

Communication Plan
Our goal is to provide you with as much information as possible to keep you informed regarding events at CRE.  The "Clover Leaf" will be sent home weekly (on Wednesdays).  This information will also be available on our website under "News". As we continue to add items to our website, please contact us with suggestions or edits.

If you wish to recieve paper copies of the Clover Leaf or other school information, please contact our office at 952.556.6900 or email [email protected].

Student Directory
In compliance with state and federal laws, ISD 112 must make some student directory information available to the public. This information can be withheld only at the request of the parent/guardian.
Student and parent names, phone numbers, addresses, student date of birth, attendance dates, school, grade level, participation in activities, weight and height (athletes only), participation in activities, degrees and awards received, pictures for school, approved newspaper and videotapes .

Because directory information is made available to all who request it, you may receive solicitation from organizations such as PTO fund raisers, scouts, booster clubs, senior class party organizers, or commercial entities such as photographers for senior pictures or drivers' training schools. However, requesting that your child's information be private will mean that they will be excluded not only in listings provided to outside organizations but also from such publications as yearbook, student newspaper, newsletters, honor roll or other recognition lists, sports programs and school programs.

If parents wish to have their child's information excluded from directory data, they must stop by our school office and fill out a "Request to Exclude Student Directory Information". This form must be completed each school year.
