Join WHP in San Miguel de Allende
The Hummingbird Festival in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico brings together researchers, educators, and hummingbird aficionados from Mexico, the U.S., and even as far south as Chile. The Western Hummingbird Partnership (WHP) Executive Committee will join the event and looks forward to meeting partners, both old and new. 

Join our open meeting on Friday, October 2 at noon. We will share some of the hummingbird research, conservation, and education projects motivated by the WHP in the U.S. and Mexico and seek input on future goals and objectives. For more details about the festival, please visit our website.

Hummingbird Journal Off the Press
Where in the world do hummingbirds live? Exploring the increasing diversity of hummingbird species from north to south in the Western Hemisphere is just one activity featured in the new Junior Birder Journal. 

Western Hummingbird Partnership is supporting the development of materials that engage teachers, youth, and families in learning about hummingbirds. This handy, 22-page booklet has information and activities about courtship behavior, flight, nesting, the importance of keeping cats indoors, and more. The journal will be available in Spanish soon.
