Ben's Buzz:

 August 31, 2016

We have had a great first week of school!  It has been great to see old friends and welcome some new ones as well!  Today we welcomed the students of the 2025 Graduating Class to their first day of Kindergarten!

I hope you and your families have enjoyed this week as much as we have!  Please remember that we have no school this Friday or next Monday.

Please enjoy this phtoto gallery with a quick peek at the first few days of school so far.

Have a great rest of the week!

Heather Zolnowski
Head of School
Transportation Announcements:

Bus Transportation

Please remember that BFCCPS is the 3rd Tier of bussing in the town of Franklin. This means that each bus has at least two other runs before picking up in the AM or the PM.

Generally the bus routes are slow the first week of school as the students and parents adjust to new routines. At this time of year there is generally more traffic on the road ways, and as you may be aware several areas of Franklin are under construction.

In particular, the Franklin Bus 9 is experiencing extreme delays both on the way into school and at dismissal.  We are in contact with the Franklin Transportation Department and the bus company to address this issue as soon as possible.

If you need information about our Regional Transportation Program please contact Mrs. Schwab. The two regional bus routes are posted here online

Express Placards:   If you need a family placard for the Express line please contact Mrs. Schwab.

R eminders from the Front Office:

Visitors: All visitors to the school are required to sign in at the Front Office and wear a Visitor's badge. Visitors must be escorted at all times.  Thank you for your help with this!

Parking & Parking Lot Safety:  Parking is not allowed in marked reserved spots near the schools main entrance. These spots are reserved for the CCD program staff.

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures:  Please adhere to the posted arrival and dismissal procedures which are posted here our website.

Absence and Dismissal Notification:  If your child will be absent or tardy from school, Please contact Mrs. Tappin at ltappin@bfccps.org or at 508-541-3434 x100.  Additionally, if you have to make any dismissal changes please email both your child(ren)'s homeroom teacher AND Mrs. Laura Tappin by email at  ltappin@bfccps.org
