Are you and your Cub Scouts ready to get back out to camp? We are ready for you! Cub Scout Family Camping Weekends kick off this October at Bert Adams Scout Camp. These weekends are the perfect place to get the family out to camp to enjoy some good old fashioned Scouting activities as well as new ones where you can learn Native American History, learn how retriever dogs are trained or attend the Creepy Crawly Nature Show. Scout Days are unique opportunities for your family to attend exciting experiences around the Atlanta Area with other Scouting families. All Scout Days are offered at a discounted price of admission, and a portion of the proceeds from each Scout Day is given to the Atlanta Area Council.

MERIT BADGE UNIVERSITY
Merit Badge University is a unique Merit Badge program that helps Scouts learn about different fields by recruiting experienced professional counselors. Classes will include Emergency Preparedness, Citizenship in the Nation, Communication, Robotics and many more! Merit Badge University will be held on October 15, 2016 at Oglethorpe University. Registration for the event and classes will open on September 9th.

DUTY TO GOD ENCAMPMENT
As Scouts, we constantly experience the joy and beauty provided to us by our God. Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturers join us for the Duty to God Encampment on September 23, 2016 at Bert Adams Scout Camp for a weekend full of fun, service and worship and get started on earning the religious emblem and take part in a Messengers of Peace service project.

YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING SEMINAR
Providing children with a safe and healthy environment is such an important role for advocates for children. Join us on Thursday, October 13th for our 3rd annual Youth Protection Seminar to learn from experts about Building Resilient Children.

NATIONAL JAMBOREE
The best of Scouting is here. We want YOU to live the Scouting adventure. Boy Scouts and Venturers h ead up to Summit Bechtel Reserve, West Virginia and experience hundreds of adventures over ten days, for a once in a lifetime experience. Meet other Scouts from all over the United States and beyond. Experience the Buckskin Games, Native American presentations, competitions and make progress on your advancement during classes around The Summit. This adventure kicks off  July 19-28, 2017 , but reserve your spot now- space is limited!

CUB SCOUT LEADER TRAINING
Whether you are a brand new leader or returning for another great year of adventures, and w e want to make sure you always have everything you need to be a successful leader and enjoy the ride. Get started with Cub Scout Leader Training and Youth Protection Training, and discover everything you need to know about being an awesome leader!

SCOUT SHOP: NOW OPEN SUNDAY
In an effort to make the Scout Shop more available for new and returning Scouting families, the Atlanta Scout Shop  will be open on Sundays for 6 weeks: Sunday, August 21st to Sunday September 25th.

  • Monday-Friday 9 AM-7 PM 
  • Saturday 9 AM-5 PM
  • Sunday 1 PM-5 PM
