"Daniel epitomizes what we look for in a team member at NAI Hallmark Partners", said NAI Hallmark Partners Principal Keith Goldfaden. "He is internally motivated, extremely hardworking and passionate about forming long-term relationships with clients."
Over the past 4 years, Daniel helped broker approximately 1.5 million square feet of sales and leasing transactions with a value of over $60 million; comprised of several high profile deals including the sale of Butler Pointe, Baymeadows Business Center and Northeast Florida Industrial Center.
Daniel Burkhardt
joined Hallmark in 2012 as an associate specializing in office leasing and investment sales.
Daniel previously worked for the University of Florida Men's Basketball Team for Head Coach, Billy Donovan, from 2009-2011,
|
while obtaining his undergraduate degree in Finance from the Warrington School of Business. Shortly thereafter, he enrolled in the UF Master of Real Estate Program, graduating May 2012 in the top 20% of his class.
Daniel is a member of NAIOP and is the current Education Committee Chair for NAIOP's Developing Leaders program. He is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member, the youngest to receive the designation in North Florida, and is actively involved in the Jacksonville community. Daniel is immediate past president of Dreams Come True's Horizon Board, and is the Head Assistant Coach for the basketball program at Assumption Catholic School.
Goldfaden continues, "Our focus on building relationships is fundamental to our culture, and Daniel has consistently demonstrated his ability to connect with clients by understanding their business challenges and providing the right solutions."

Will Brexit impact commercial real estate?
|
"Brexit's long term effect on commercial real estate in the United States is yet to be seen. Some experts view Brexit negatively, given potential unsettled capital markets and a stronger U.S. dollar which may make direct foreign investment in the U.S. more challenging. However, others maintain that the U.S. will continue to be viewed as a safe haven amongst international investors which will drive strong capital inflows from the UK and other European countries. I tend to agree with the notion that U.S. commercial real estate will be the beneficiary of Brexit in the short term based on its appeal as a safe haven in the eyes of many foreign investors. However, I don't believe that Brexit will have a significant direct impact on commercial real estate in Jacksonville. We may see a slight increase in foreign investment, but I still believe the majority of foreign investors will target property in well-known gateway cities like New York, Miami and San Francisco. Ultimately it will be Brexit's impact on the overall U.S. economy and traditional fundamentals including employment, population growth and interest rates (borrowing costs) that will drive the Jacksonville market."
