This is an exciting and busy time of year at Community Action as we prepare to welcome over 400 new families to Head Start in September.  The Community Action Head Start team has been buzzing with activity as we work to enroll children, welcome back staff, recruit new staff and re-open classrooms.

 

We believe that a successful life begins with success in education. This year continues the long tradition of Community Action Head Start delivering comprehensive child development services designed to promote school readiness and foster the healthy development of low-income children across Washington County.  By supporting early learning and positive parent-child relationships, we prepare children for a healthy, successful future. As a result, Head Start directly impacts the mission of Community Action to eliminate conditions of poverty and create opportunities for people and communities to thrive.  We are proud of the strong partnerships we have developed within the county to support our families, and we are equally grateful for the broad level of community support for high quality early childhood education.
