We are very excited to welcome two new friends to the Christ Church community, Iman and Amal Kassir. Iman will lead an education time from 9:00-10:00am on "A New Conversation on Islam," a combined class for Adult Seminar and "Pastor's Conversation" groups. Her daughter, Amal, will share some poetry during the worship service. Amal is a slam poet, featured on CPR, Denver Post, LA Times, and the PBS News hour. Her poetry focuses on the humanitarian needs of Syria, combating Islamophobia, and empowering the voices of the marginalized. Join us in graciously welcoming these new friends on Sunday!

My name is Rev. Eric Strader and I am your pastor and I am returning from paternity leave! First, a big thank you. I am deeply appreciative of the time to be away, to bond with Finn and Nora. Thank you, for your cards, emails, thoughts, and prayers. Another BIG thanks to the staff, especially Rev. Megan, who have done a tremendous job. Please take a moment and honor her extra work.
