STAY CONNECTED:
THIS YEAR'S RIDE HAS ALREADY RAISED...

OVER HALF A MILLION DOLLARS!

IMPORTANT RIDE DAY INFORMATION...
DO NOT MISS THIS!!

  • Please use this link to familiarize yourself with the ballpark area. (It takes a minute to download so please be patient.) It will give you an idea of all that is available: showers, massage, free food (and ONE free beer) for all cyclists and volunteers plus a concession stand for additional food & drink.
  • For the safety of our cyclists, parking will not be allowed anywhere other than the designated areas. You may leave your car overnight, if parking is a concern at your hotel.
  • Packet pick-up will be done in alphabetical order.  You will receive a ride t-shirt and a wristband in your route color. The wristband must be put on at the time of pick-up. Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your ride time. Ride times are posted on
    our home page.
  • INTRODUCING VIP PACKET PICK-UP! Please note, this will be for last year's VIPs who raised enough in time to receive a 2015 VIP Jersey. If you want to be in this line and receive a special VIP Bib Number next year, make sure to do your fundraising!
  • Once you receive your packet, please secure your small bib number to the FRONT HANDLEBARS.  This is mandatory as we need to be able to scan these as you come through the finish line! The back of the small bib number also has the Emergency Phone numbers for anyone who needs help along the route.
  • The matching large bib number must be pinned to the BACK OF YOUR SHIRT.
  • URGENT! Maps and cue sheets will NOT be handed out at the ride! Roads will be well marked but please consider downloading the mapmyride app or printing your own copy of the cue sheets. Both available on here. There is also a map that includes information on rest stops along each route. Please share this with family members who are hoping to see you along the way.

Lastly, please review the Rules of the Road before

arriving  on Saturday.  This is critical both for your safety and the integrity of the Ride . With 1000+ cyclists this year, people will be watch ing. Please do us proud!
In particular, remember to ride in  single file, stop for all pedestrians (especially in crosswalks!), obey all traffic signs & signals, and yell "on your left" when passing another cyclist.

Marshals will be monitoring all routes.

LIVE RIDE CURE RELAX AND PLAY!

You've done so much hard work... you've trained, and raised funds, you pushed through the ride, and you've committed yourself to the cause...now it's time  to relax and play a little!

There will be men's & women's  showers available  at the  ballpark  (gym towels available for purchase but they are tiny) and students from UNE will be offering free Osteopathic Manipulative Treatments at the end of the ride.  OMT, is hands-on-care intended to move your muscles and joints utilizing techniques that include stretching, gentle pressure and resistance.  A physician from the UNECOM faculty has also volunteered to provide oversight of the students.  Stop by and work out those  tight muscles...you earned it!  The students will be able to see 6-8 people at a time from 1:00 - 4:45.
Just follow the signs at the ballpark!

Food & Drink will be provided to all cyclists and volunteers but you must have your wristband on!! We'll have burgers, hot dogs, veggie wraps, Gatorade, water, plus beer donated by Shipyard and Sebago Breweries for those 21 and over!  Again, please one free beer per person.

Make sure to bring you friends and family along for the fun!  Additional food and drink will be available for purchase by friends, family, and spectators.  We'll also have BOUNCY HOUSES and a BAND!

RAFFLE TICKETS FOR ST CROIX STILL AVAILABLE ONLINE UNTIL END OF DAY TODAY! THEY WILL ALSO BE SOLD AT THE PRE-RIDE DINNER AND ON RIDE DAY!

Drawing will take place at the after the ride on Saturday. (You do not need to be present to win.) Tickets are $100 and only 200 will be sold!

CAN I CONTINUE TO RAISE MONEY

AFTER THE RIDE?

ABSOLUTELY!! Friends and family may continue to make donations to your personal page through December!  You may also continue to collect checks and mail them in as explained below.

Please remember though that you have committed to the minimum fundraising requirement of $100. If you haven't raised that yet, please pay it at the Packet Pick-Up table.

We hope with all our hearts that you will do all you can to raise as much as possible to support the research necessary to find the cure!  Remember, you still have a chance to earn your VIP Gear! (See details under Forms and Flyers)

WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH CHECKS?

Checks should be made out to The Michael J Fox Foundation (or MJFF).  If you receive one made out to the New England Parkinson's Ride, please write "Payable to MJFF" on the back of the check.

List YOUR NAME AS THE CYCLIST then list all checks with the donor names and addresses on the MJFF Tracking Form Forms and Flyers.

Make a copy of the form and the checks.

Mail to the address on the form or bring to the ride in a sealed envelope.  If you bring it to the ride your name and total enclosed must be written on the outside of the envelope and you absolutely, positively, must complete the MJFF Donor Tracking Form!

Team Fox will credit these to your Personal Page approximately two weeks from the time received.  If you bring to the ride, please allow an additional two weeks for us to process and forward.

If your donations do not appear on your Personal Page within a month, please email us at [email protected].
