Exercising to Relieve Stress
The Fall can be a hectic time of the year. Whether you are sending your kids back to school, going back to school yourself, or getting ready for the Vermont winter, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and short on time. The first thing we often cut out of our lives is exercise. While it might be hard to fit into your schedule, exercise is one of the best ways to relieve stress. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins, which are your body's natural pain killers. Exercises like running, cycling, and lifting weights allow you to get into a rhythm. The rhythmic flow can help relax your mind and clear your head. As a bonus, exercise helps you sleep better at night. Better sleep can lead to a clearer mind and a refreshed feeling the next day.
