"Inspiring students to love God, their Catholic faith and learning."
Achievement Testing Week

Parents:  We will be taking achievement tests in grades 3 though 8 from September 26th-September 30th.  Testing will take place during the morning.  Please keep this in mind as you are scheduling outside appointments, so that your student does not have to miss class time to make-up tests.  ALL students may wear spirit-wear all week.  Students who participate in the EER program will not be attending during testing week.

Please help us get the best "snapshot" possible of our students.
Be sure your child gets plenty of SLEEP, and has a good nourishing BREAKFAST each morning.
Be sure that they are at school ON TIME and have a positive ATTITUDE.
ENCOURAGE your child to employ good test taking skills-following directions carefully, avoiding careless errors and rechecking their work.
REASSURE them that there is no grade associated with these tests so there is no failing grade.

Please remember to send a HEALTHY snack with your child to eat during breaks in testing.  Ideas:  grapes, trail mix, granola bars.  Please do not send anything that is "sugary" or requires refrigeration.

Looking for Business Partnership
We are currently seeking a business partner for the 2016-2017 school year. A partner can be involved in a variety of ways. In the past, partner employees have been guest readers in the classrooms, have given presentations to classes about their business or field, and invited our students to visit them for tours! Some partners have preferred to be involved more on a monetary donation level. From the school side we have made decorations for events such as retirement luncheons and placed our partner's logo or company name on t-shirts and our newsletter for advertising. Our music department has even provided entertainment during the holiday season! We are always open to new ideas and ways to be involved in the community! If you own or manage a business, or know someone who does, and would be interested in partnering with us this year, please contact Gayle Trachsel at [email protected]   St. Peter Interparish School.
Server Training
Fr. Charlie will be doing server training this week & next, during the school day. If you signed your child(ren) up to be a server they will be trained during the school day. If they are already trained, he will have a short review with them.
