U.S. News & World Report Ranks Babson No. 1 for Entrepreneurship for 20th Consecutive Time
No. 1 in Entrepreneurship U.S. News & World Report has ranked Babson College the No. 1 undergraduate school for entrepreneurship in the United States for the 20th consecutive time, ahead of such institutions as University of Pennsylvania, MIT, and NYU. Read more »
 
Meet This Year's Boston and Miami WINners
The Center for Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership (CWEL) at Babson has selected 43 women entrepreneurs to participate in the 2016-2017 Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab business accelerator, a one-of-a-kind program, now in Boston and Miami, specifically designed to support women entrepreneurs in their startup and early stage ventures. Savitha Sridharan MBA'14 was recognized as part of the 2016 AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) Influential Leaders Challenge. Launched in 2015 to honor notable alumni from AACSB-accredited business schools, the AACSB Influential Leaders initiative continues to recognize business school graduates for the positive impact they make on society, and the inspiring example they set for others. Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Honors InnerCity Weightlifting
InnerCity Weightlifting, founded by Jon Feinman MBA'10, is among the three 2016 winners of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Sports Award. The winners will receive a $7,500 cash award and will be honored at a September 28 ceremony at the RWJF headquarters in Princeton, N.J. InnerCity Weightlifting reduces youth violence by connecting proven-risk young people with new networks and opportunities, including meaningful career tracks in and beyond personal fitness. Author Julia Shanks MBA'06 has distilled years of teaching and business consulting with farmers into a comprehensive, accessible guide. Abby Fabiaschi '02 Set to Publish First Novel
Abby Fabiaschi '02 is looking forward to the publication of her novel, I Liked My Life (St. Martin's Press; January 2017), a poignant and fresh look at the fraught sacrifices of motherhood and the nuances of mourning experienced by a hormonal teen and her powerful alpha male father. Twenty percent of all Fabiaschi's after-tax profit--including foreign and film rights--will be donated to charities uplifting women and children around the world. Read more »
 
Four Babson Grads Included On BBJ Annual 40 Under 40 List
The Boston Business Journal (BBJ) has named four Babson College graduates among its annual 40 Under 40 recognition list: Kate Drew Jaspon '98, Ian So '08, Andrew Musto '06, and Ethan Carlson MBA'12. In addition, BBJ honored Nicole Ledoux, co-founder of 88 Acres with Rob Dalton MBA'14 Read more »

Eight Babson Athletics Programs in Top 25 of Rankings
The Department of Athletics and Recreation was well-represented when College Factual, in conjunction with its partner USA Today, released its 2017 rankings. It ranked eight Babson programs in the top 25 of their respective sports, led by men's basketball (No. 1) and men's ice hockey (No. 3).  Read more »

According to the recently published 2016 U.S. Department of Education (ED) College Scorecard, Babson ranks No. 2 among its national business program peers in terms of alumni earnings and No. 7 among all private nonprofits. Read more »

Congratulations, Heidi Neck, Entrepreneurship Educator of the Year
Heidi Neck Professor of Entrepreneurship Heidi Neck has received the Schulze Entrepreneurship Educator of the Year Award (SEEYA). She is recognized as a trailblazer in American entrepreneurship education and stands out among her peers for a demonstrated ability to drive entrepreneurship education forward. Read more »
Babson Law Faculty and Student Honored with Awards
Six members of the Babson law faculty and one of their students received, collectively, an unprecedented eight awards this spring and summer. The "award fest" started this spring when Professor Toni Lester received a Babson Faculty Scholar award to support her research with an annual course release for the next three years. Read more »
Professor Fred Opie Explores Contributions of Longtime Babson Chef Dick Roussel in Podcast
Fred Opie, professor of history and foodways at Babson, recently shared an episode of his documentary podcast Dinner Table that explores the contributions of chef Dick Roussel, who worked at the College for 25 years. Through Roussel's career, listeners learn that great food on a college campus improves community morale and fosters pride in an institution. Read more »

The Park Manor Quad Is Now Open!
Park Manor Quad A longtime dream became reality this fall with the arrival of undergraduates living in the Park Manor residence hall complex, featuring new and renovated space as well as the unveiling of the outdoor Park Manor Quad. The multiyear effort encompassed the construction of a new residence hall, continued renovations to existing residence halls, the creation of classroom and meeting spaces, and the development of an outdoor quad to complement and enhance the surrounding undergraduate living/learning environment. Expanded WIN Lab Joins CIC Miami
Following its recent launch, Babson College's Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab Miami, a venture accelerator specifically for women entrepreneurs, is pleased to announce a new collaboration with CIC Miami--the newest expansion of what was originally known as the Cambridge Innovation Center in Massachusetts. All WIN Lab Miami entrepreneurs, also known as WINners, will work out of CIC Miami's brand new space on the third floor at 1951 NW 7th Avenue. Read more »
Caroline Kennedy and Evan Ryan Talk Education Abroad at Babson
U.S. Ambassador to Japan Caroline Kennedy and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Evan Ryan recently visited Babson and discussed the role of study abroad in U.S. relations and practical ways students can access global opportunities. Following the discussion hosted by Babson President Kerry Healey, Laura Jimenez '17, one of several Babson students who received Gilman scholarships to study abroad, offered insights into her experience in a recent blog post. Test Out Babson's MBA Program
Blended Learning Experience the Babson MBA before enrolling! The Babson Blended Learning: Test-It-Out program is taught in the blended learning format with online learning and collaboration, as well as face-to-face sessions at Babson's Wellesley campus. The course offered, Global Strategic Management, provides a broad-based introduction to the management of international business ventures as well as the strategies and operations of multinational corporations. Students who successfully complete the program and subsequently enter a part-time Babson MBA program or the Certificate in Advanced Management program will earn 3 advanced standing credits.
