Turning Darkness into Light -   Pastor Allen Trapp

In medieval times, people believed in alchemy and many dedicated their lives to finding The Philosopher's Stone.  "It wasn't a stone as we think of a small rock; it was a substance like yeast that could transform and multiply everything into which it was put." [Sacred Doorways by Linette Martin, p. 31].  Many believed it could turn even straw into gold.  Of course there was and is no such thing in this world.  However our Lord Jesus Christ the very Light of Life, entered this world with all its darkness and taught us that darkness flees when His light is present.  Come Sunday as we see how He uses a dark and dishonest servant to encourage us to be true children of the Light.
Check out Matthew 5:16 and as St. Paul would encourage us -
"Let light shine out of darkness."
