FUTURE EASTERN PANHANDLE
HOME BUILDERS ASSOCIATION
HOME SHOW'S
As most of you have heard by now, Foxcroft Towne Center at Martinsburg is closing the interior portion of the facility November 1, 2016.  Since the mall/town center has been the "home" for EPHBA's Home Show for 20 years, we felt it was important to let you know how we plan to carry on with the show.

Rumors have been circulating for years about the changes/closing at the Towne Center, so the fact that the center is officially closing did not come as a shock to us.  In fact, for 2017 we have already been looking for alternative locations for the Home Show.   Home Show Chairperson Chrissy Smith, Executive Officer David Hartley and the committee have identified a list of about 10 or so options and are currently researching those options for space available, location, parking, utilities, etc.  We want to find the best possible option for 2017's Home Show and look forward to exploring more options for future years.  As soon as we can confirm a location for the show that fits as many of the criteria as possible, we will be in touch to let you know all the details.

Although this development is both an opportunity and a challenge, it does allow us to address some concerns exhibitors have had with the show for many years.  This includes improving visitor "qualification" by holding the show at a dedicated location so that the attendees are at the show for the show only.  It also may allow more control over the hours of the show and possibly having a two day versus a longer three day home show, hosting preview party for the kick off and more.

The bottom line is the success of the show is very important for us because we want and need it to be successful for you.  So be assured that EPHBA Board of Directors, staff and Home Show committee will work in every way possible to make future Home Show's the valuable marketing opportunity past shows have been for our members and businesses in the community.

We will keep in touch but if you have any concerns or ideas, please feel free to reach out to Chrissy Smith or David Hartley.

Thanks for your past support of this community event and we look forward to seeing you there in 2017...and beyond.
