Our Perspective
Spotlight:  Prospect Generation & Hometown Growth

Now for some hard stats...
Below are Augusta County's current 2016 economic development statistics. Our presence is gaining traction, and our properties show well.
3 Outreach Marketing Missions
18 Leads
4 Prospect Visits
12 Ongoing Projects

We have more planned for 2016, and we are so proud of the hometown growth that is generated by the companies located in Augusta. Thanks to AccuTEC Blades, Stable Craft Brewing, Innovative Refrigeration Systems and Valley Pike Farm Market, Augusta County has seen over $8M in investment and 183 new jobs in 2016.
This infusion into our economy is great - 183 new jobs emphasizes the importance of having a ready-to-work labor pipeline. To that end, we are hosting a series of plant manager lunches focused on apprenticeship opportunities in the Valley. These opportunities include not only apprenticeship programs but apprenticeship grant funding. We have hosted a lunch in Stuarts Draft and will also host lunches in other Augusta regions. If you'd like to be on the invite list, please email us at [email protected].

Farm to Cask
Beerwerks Special Fall Release

Great beer starts with great ingredients. Shenandoah Beerwerks Trail announces Farm to Cask, a seasonal release happening in different regions of the trail every weekend in September.  These small batch craft beers have been brewed by our master brewers with fresh-from-the-farm goodness. We've heard talk of local ingredients from honey, apples, blackberries, peppers, pumpkins, ginger, and more. We're intrigued!  These limited-run seasonal releases are only available at the individual breweries while supplies last.

Your local breweries, Stable Craft and Seven Arrows, are debuting their beers this weekend!
