Awesome Autumn Book Sale Fundraiser
Friday, September 23 from 12 - 6pm
Saturday, September 24 from 10am - 5pm
Sunday, September 25 from 1 - 5pm (all items half-priced)
Everyone is covered in this fundraiser - from tots to teens in the Brubeck Room with selections from board books and picture books to young adult novels; to a full Book Cellar featuring a large assortment of items including fantasy and science fiction, bestsellers and nonfiction; gently used, new, collectible, rare books, DVDs, CDs, books on CDs. Sunday everything is half-priced. Proceeds benefit Wilton Library.   More info
Area Author Affair: Cathryn Prince, American Daredevil
Monday, September 19 @6pm 
Local author Cathryn Prince explores the life and times of the world's first globetrotting celebrity journalist, Richard Halliburton in her latest book, American Daredevil. This dashing figure captured the imaginations of Americans in the 1920s and '30s. During his career, Halliburton climbed the Matterhorn, shot the first aerial photographs of Mt. Everest, and became the first person to swim the Panama Canal. Cathryn Prince is the author of several nonfiction history books. More info & register
AARP Driver Safety Class
Wednesday, September 21 @10am 
This single session, four-hour course is the nation's first and largest classroom driver safety course designed especially for drivers age 50+. There are no written or driving tests - classroom only. More info & register
Intro to Bridge with Michael Hess

Join us for a discussion of the ever-popular but misunderstood game of bridge. Mike Hess will introduce participants to the game, its history, and discuss how people can get involved. Bridge is challenging, fun, and provides a great mental workout. Mike is a bridge champion who has been mentoring and teaching bridge for 30+ years. More info & register
Candlelight Concert at the Wilton Congregational Church
Sunday, September 25 @4pm 
Candlelight Concerts open their 69th season with The Dover String Quartet in a program including works by Mozart, Beethoven, and David Ludwig. All performances are on Sunday afternoons at the Wilton Congregational Church, 70 Ridgefield Road, Wilton. A portion of the proceeds benefits Wilton Library.
