'Burgers and Brews for the Bay' returns to Clagett Farm in Upper Marlboro on September 25, 12 to 4pm.

Join the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) at Clagett Farm on Sunday, September 25 for "Burgers & Brews for the Bay."  Eat from s even different food stations highlighting local, pasture-raised meats and dairy, along with local vegetables. The stations are scattered within easy walking distance and highlight Clagett Farm, a working farm with a 270 member CSA and pasture-raised beef and lamb.

Each of these bite sized food items will be paired with a thirst-quencing regional craft beer.

This is a family friendly event with live blue grass music, hay rides, fish printing, fun educational stations, and opportunities to view grazing cows and sheep and an old "working" barns on a picturesque sustainable farm in gorgeous, Prince George's County.

Proceeds from ticket sales support CBF's efforts to defend and protect the Bay, including award-winning educational programs, on-the-ground restoration activities throughout the watershed, and advocacy initiatives at both the federal and state level.
 
In addition to the scrumptious menu below, homemade root beer floats with ice cream from a local dairy, as well as lemonade will be served for kids young and old.

Where:   CBF's Clagett Farm, 11904 Old Marlboro Pike, Upper Marlboro, MD
Just 3 miles outside the Washington, DC Beltway along Rt 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue)

Cost:   $50 in advance; $60 at the door (if tickets are available). $35 for children (ages 10-20) and Designated Drivers. Children under 10 free but still need a ticket. Ticket price is all-inclusive.
