Jam Your Way to Germany with DAAD's Annual Contest!

Are you ready for Germany, but stuck without a plan?
Turn it around and join the DAAD Germany poetry jam!
Whether you write, sing, rhyme or rap, it�s time to get your passion to giddy-yap!
So go stand in front of the cam and jam your way to Germany!

Participating in the DAAD German Poetry Jam Contest will be both easy and fun! Create a video (maximum one minute long) of yourself stating why you'd value the opportunity to study in Germany.

To meet the eligibility requirements you must be a student enrolled full-time in a degree program at a college or university in the U.S. or Canada.

MBA - Master of Business Administration

The 15-month full-time Berlin MBA programme prepares for leadership or consulting roles in internationally oriented companies and organisations. Special focus will be on patterns of internationalisation strategies and entry strategies on European, Asian and transatlantic markets, identifying key success factors in expanding companies in the worldwide competition. Students will acquire the specialist business skills and socio-cultural competences needed to successfully undertake executive business tasks in an international context. Applicants need a completed undergraduate degree and a minimum of three years of work experience. The programme is taught in English.



Master International Business Management

This programme will provide you with the knowledge and tools to conduct business in a truly international way. It provides fundamental cross-sector and cross-functional skills and knowledge in international management. Additionally a Study Visit to Kingston Business School in London gives you the opportunity to engage in international student life. Selected students may study the entire second semester at Kingston University in London or at the Polytechnic of Namibia.
The 15-month programme is especially designed for English speaking students with a successfully completed undergraduate degree and at least one year of work experience.

Master Chinese-European Economics and Business Studies

This full-time programme addresses applicants who have a particular interest in the field of the rapidly growing Chinese-European economic and business relations. Participants will acquire a good base of knowledge in economics and business, as well as in the specific cultural and political foundations of China and Europe. The programme comprehends four terms of study, including a compulsory semester at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics/SWUFE in Chengdu. Students have the possibility to obtain a Dual Degree.

(Re)Discovering Germany Workshop in San Francisco

Join the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and Cultural Vistas for an exclusive preview
of opportunities to study, intern and research in Germany (Re) Discovering Germany is an interactive workshop about study, work, and research opportunities in Germany offered by the DAAD and Cultural Vistas. The workshop is designed for international educators* at colleges and universities - particularly study abroad and
fellowship advisers, career services administrators, and faculty members from all departments and disciplines. You will learn about new programs and funding available for your students as well as opportunities for faculty and departments. The event will include the opportunity to connect with program alumni over a networking luncheon.

The workshop format will feature:
- Information on 2015 programs sponsored by DAAD & Cultural Vistas
-New programs for students, faculty, researchers, and universities
-Q&A panel
-Networking luncheon with alumni

Advertisement: Freie Universit�t Berlin International Summer and Winter University (FUBiS)


FUBiS is an intensive academic program through which students can earn credits that may be counted toward their degrees at their home institutions. FUBiS sessions run for 3 to 6 weeks and take place both in summer and winter.

The FUBiS summer program 2014 takes place in two terms:
� FUBiS term II: May 31 - July 12, 2014 (6 weeks)
� FUBiS term III: July 19 - August 16, 2014 (4 weeks)
Each term may be taken separately. Students can choose between subject courses (mostly taught in English) and German language courses.
The subject courses are offered within the fields of Architecture, Art history, Politics, Humanities, Social Sciences, Cultural Studies, History, and Music. The subject courses may be combined with a semi-intensive German language course.



The German language courses are offered on up to five different levels of proficiency and take place as semi-intensive (3 days per week) or intensive (5 days per week) classes. The semi-intensive courses may be combined with a subject course.
Study visits within Berlin are an integral part of all our courses. In addition, FUBiS offers field trips to the Berlin Reichstag and a River Boat Tour through Downtown Berlin as well as day and weekend trips to Weimar, Dresden, and Hamburg.

DAAD P.R.I.M.E. Program for Postdoctoral Researchers

With this new program and funding from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the European Union, DAAD provides support for international mobility for postdocs. Postdoctoral researchers of all nationalities, who see their long-term career unfolding in Germany, will be given the opportunity to combine the association with a German university with a research stay abroad.

DAAD support measures and the possibility of continuous coordination with the German host institution ensure smooth re-integration following the research stay abroad.
