DAAD Deadline Reminder - DAAD Poetry Jam Contest

Jam Your Way to Germany with DAAD's Annual Contest!



Are you ready for Germany, but stuck without a plan?
Turn it around and join the DAAD Germany poetry jam!
Whether you write, sing, rhyme or rap, it�s time to get your passion to giddy-yap!
So go stand in front of the cam and jam your way to Germany!


Participating in the DAAD German Poetry Jam Contest will be both easy and fun! Create a video (maximum one minute long) of yourself stating why you'd value the opportunity to study in Germany.

To meet the eligibility requirements you must be a student enrolled full-time in a degree program at a college or university in the U.S. or Canada.

Advertisement: International & European Studies: Short-term programs at the University of T�bingen

Both programs are taught entirely in English and provide the possibility of obtaining course credit. The program is open to undergraduate students from all countries and of all majors. Participation in either one or both of the programs is possible.

Each program offers academic courses on different levels focusing on European politics, history, business, law, cultural studies, and media. The courses are taught by University of T�bingen faculty and participants will benefit from the expertise of T�bingen academics.





In excursions participants will explore how European institutions were shaped and operate today: students will visit the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the historical center and government district in Berlin and the European Central Bank in Frankfurt. Field trips to multinational corporations such as Daimler in Stuttgart are also part of the program.

The syllabus includes German language courses and an intercultural workshop. Intercultural exchange will be encouraged via various social activities, and participants will be involved in student life in T�bingen.

The application deadline is 15 May 2014 for the Summer Program and 31 May 2014 for the Semester Program.

The Summer University is a short term program taught in English focused on green buildings and the efficient use of energy
in buildings and materials, in planning, constructing and maintaining a building. You will get to know technologies which

Doctoral Scholarships at Freie Universit�t Berlin (FUB)

FUB announces its vacant positions for scholarships within the the Collaborative Research Center 765 (SFB 765) �Multivalency as Chemical Organizational and Operational Principle: New Architectures, Functions, and Applications� with the integrated Research Training Group (Graduiertenkolleg) �Multivalency in Chemistry and Biochemistry� funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The deadline is: April 15, 2014.
