Join DAAD for the 2nd German Higher Education Virtual Fair on October 9th! We will be on hand to answer any questions you have about scholarship opportunities and the application process. You will also get the chance to talk personally with representatives of 15 German universities with diverse specializations and learn more about the wide variety of academic programs available to international students. No German skills required! The virtual fair will also feature information sessions and videos explaining different aspects about German higher education. Fulda University's Master of Science in Global Software Development is a modern software development program with strong relevance to industry. The program lasts 1.5 years (18 months) and is completely taught in English. It places special emphasis on project work and on intercultural learning in mixed groups. The program seeks to prepare graduates for careers as developers working in the conception and realization of complex, distributed software systems in a global team. It welcomes applicants with a first degree in computer science or a closely related discipline. Two options for a prep class prior to the start of the program: 4 weeks (compulsory), 1 year (optional). Semester fee: 300 euros, Monthly living costs: 600 750 euros (scholarships available). Admission requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent (180-210 ECTS); Application deadline: November 1.

The Annual Colloquium attracts engineering and foreign language deans and faculty along with study abroad professionals, administrators and senior leadership at higher education institutions. Representatives from industry and various government agencies are also in attendance. We will kick-start the event with a pre-conference networking dinner on Wednesday, Nov 4th. On the main days, November 5th and 6th, we will hear panelists and presenters speak about Building Strategic International Partnerships, the theme of this years Colloquium. It will be held at the Institute of International Educations Headquarter and the DAAD North America Office in New York City.
