Mentoring Programs and ROI (Return on Individuals) - Maggie French, ACC, Credentialed Life/Work Coach and Principal of Living Whole Coaching, will present an overview of professional mentoring and the affects on  professional performance, mentoring components, and types of mentoring programs.  Please bring your questions as there will be a Q&A portion to the program.

 

Help define Cape Cod's economic future

 

Please take this 5 to 10 minute survey which will help planners and policy makers update the region's 5-year Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). Your input is essential to developing a plan that is pertinent, timely and implementable.  Your opinion is needed on general development issues as well as specific projects under discussion as potential engines of economic development.

Workforce Training Funds
Massachusetts employers in good standing may apply for workforce training funds to  provide the resources to train current and newly hired employees. 

General Fund: For any size company training employees in job-related skills through a program designed by the company. Grants up to $250,000.

Technical Assistance Grant: to help an employer, or a group of employers or employees, determine a set of training needs. Grants up to $25,000.

Express Program: For companies with 100 or fewer employees training employees using off-the-shelf training. Grants up to  $3,000 per course/per trainee ($30,000 maximum) 
Hiring Incentive Training Grant (HITG) Program of the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund provides cash grants to employers to hire Massachusetts residents who have been unemployed for 6 months or more, or Massachusetts residents who are military veterans (regardless of length unemployment). Eligible employers may apply for grants of $5,000 for each new hire ($75,000 maximum)
